This workshop is aiming at letting the participants approach “entrepreneurship” in all its dimensions, but also at highlighting the nature of creativity and to determine how to evaluate it, αnalyze and explore the criteria that govern business creativity.

Digital Marketing Week in Thessaloniki

Our project team “activates” Remicro LOCAL Workshops in Thessaloniki!

Opening Event for the Remicro LOCAL Project in Kavala

Having launched the new Remicro LOCAL Info Point in Kavala, the Business and Cultural Development Centre – KEPA organizes an opening event,  which is scheduled to take place within the framework of the project “RE-thinking MICROcredit as a tool to support SMEs and boost LOCAL economies”, on Wednesday 16th of March 2022  at 18:00  at its premises located in the building of Municipal Market of Kavala.

The participants will have the opportunity to learn about the upcoming educational activities of the project with special emphasis on the development of business, soft, technological and green skills for micro and small enterprises operating in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.

The project focuses on the establishment of favorable business environment as a prerequisite for sustainable development in the cross border area. Therefore, project partners having identified the above as constraints for the economic development of the area, aim to establish six business support centers in the regions of Thessaloniki, Serres, Kavala, Komotini, Smolyan and Haskovo.

Among the future activities within the project, KEPA plans a series of workshops in Thessaloniki, Kavala, Xanthi, and Komotini, which will be further presented during the opening event.

The launch of REMICRO LOCAL project was marked by the open event of KEPA

The launch of the project “RE-thinking MICROcredit as a tool to support SMEs and boost LOCAL economies” – REMICRO LOCAL was marked by the opening event held by KEPA as lead partner of the project, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Alexandria Innovation Zone in Thessaloniki.

 

In the event, the participants had the opportunity to be informed about the goals and expected results of the project by Mrs. Despina Kabouridou, EU funded projects Coordinator of KEPA, for the upcoming project actions with emphasis on regional Unit of  Serres by Mrs. Vasiliki Bitsiou, External Collaborator of the Chamber Urban Development Company of Serres  (EPANESER), partner of the project but also to be informed about the training programs of the project in Greece by Mr. Konstantinos Papachatzis, Director of Human Resources of the company Consulting Business “ANADIKSI” and a certified trainer of business executives, who is an external collaborator of KEPA.

The project aims to develop cross-border cooperation between project partners in Greece and Bulgaria, who will exchange good practices and work together to address the issue of empowering existing and new businesses in the cross-border area with particular emphasis on productive sectors that have been recognized as the most dynamic in the region, such as Agro-nutrition, Renewable Energy Sources, Waste Management, Tourism etc.

The educational activities of the project focus on the cultivation of professional, mild, technological and green skills for small businesses and people with an interest in entrepreneurship and will be “activated” within the next year. The project implementation areas concern the Regional Units of Thessaloniki, Serres, Kavala and Komotini for Greece and the Regional Units Smolyan and Haskovo for Bulgaria.

Among the actions that will be developed by the project partners, are:

  1. a) Business education actions (Masterclasses & workshops)
  2. b) Business support actions (personalized support – mentoring / coaching, networking events, B2B meetings, etc.)
  3. c) Business support tools (Blockchain-based credit scoring application, e-matching platform)
  4. d) “Doing Business” – info points for start-ups and start-ups (information on the start-up / operation procedures of a business, available sources of funding, etc.)

Announcement of Open Electronic Public Tender

The Center for Business and Cultural Development announces an open public electronic tender for the assignment of the sub-project entitled “development of a web application for the assessment & management of loan applications for microloans provision using blockchain technology”, with criteria award the most economically advantageous offer, based on the best value for money in accordance with the provisions of Law 4412/2016.
The subproject is part of the “REMICRO LOCAL” project, implemented under the Cooperation Programme INTERREG VA “Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020”  and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the national funds of the countries participating in the Program.

Opening Event REMICRO LOCAL

The opening event of the project “RE-thinking MICROcredit as a tool to support SMEs and boost LOCAL economies”- REMICRO LOCAL will take place on December 7th 2021 at 14.00 p.m. at the premises of Thessaloniki Innovation Zone (FilikisEtairias 12 &I.Tsimiski).

The project entitled “RE-thinking MICROcredit as a tool to support SMEs and boost LOCAL economies” and acronym REMICRO LOCAL is being implemented within the Cooperation Program INTERREG V-A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 with a total budget of € 567,310.60.

The project aims to develop cross-border cooperation between project partners, who will exchange good practices and work together to address the issue of empowering existing and new businesses in the cross-border area with particular emphasis on productive sectors that have be recognized as the most dynamic in the area of interest, such as Agri-Food; Renewable Energy Sources; Waste Management; Tourism etc.

Attendees will have the chance to learn about the project’s forthcoming training activities with major focus given to the cultivation of business, soft and green skills for small businesses. 

The event will be implemented in a hybrid way (physical presence and via YouTube).

Kick off project meeting in Thessaloniki

On September 17th 2021, the first project meeting took place between the partners of the project “REMICRO LOCAL”. The meeting took place in Thessaloniki at the headquarters of KEPA which is the lead partner of the project and was attended by representatives of the other partners and in particular the SERRES CHAΜBER’S DEVELOPMENT COMPANY and REGIONAL COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT and Rhodopes Regional Tour  ism Association from Bulgaria.

During the first part of the meeting, the project was presented and the specific role of each partner in the implementation of the planned actions and deliverables was discussed in detail. During the second part of the meeting, the participation of a representative of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Cooperation Program INTERREG V-A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 was added, who informed the project partners about the process of reporting the implementation of actions and the possibilities of modifying the physical and financial subject to the instructions and regulations of the program.
